FARIZ MAMEDOV INTERIORS

I often feel that I came to design long before I ever knew the word in its professional sense.
Back in my school years, sitting in class, I would mentally rearrange furniture, memorize interiors from films, search for that exact fabric color from a movie I loved, and carefully compose collages from magazine cutouts on my walls.

At the time, it wasn’t called a profession - it was simply a part of life.
Just like the endless “small updates” that would suddenly turn into full-scale renovations the moment a parent’s gaze lingered on a wall a little longer than usual.

The realization that creating comfort and sharing it with others could become a life’s work came to me much later - after studying journalism and spending many years in music. I have been a touring performer, a teacher, a person of the stage. And, perhaps unexpectedly, it was precisely this experience - working with meaning, attention, and emotion - that became fundamental to my approach.

Music and design are inseparable in my practice.
In both, it is about rhythm, pauses, dynamics, and emotion - about how many disparate elements come together to form a cohesive, honest story.

Today, we are a small, author-led interior design studio founded and led by Fariz Mamedov.
We consciously maintain an intimate scale, working without mass production or impersonal solutions. Every project is personally led and carefully accompanied through all stages - from concept to realization.

Over the years, we have completed projects in different countries, working with both private and commercial spaces. Our interiors have been featured in leading professional publications.
Yet for us, quantity is never the goal - depth is. Attention to detail, thoughtful dialogue with the client, and a sense of calm throughout the entire process are at the core of our work.

With great care and full involvement, we approach every project as a unique narrative.
Because I still believe that the best interior is not the one that speaks the loudest about the designer, but the one that speaks subtly and precisely about the people who live within it.
